Gazprom’s execs raise 2018 dividend recommendation to 17 rbl/shr

MOSCOW, May 14 (PRIME) – The management committee of Russian gas giant Gazprom has raised its 2018 dividend recommendation to the board of directors to 16.61 rubles per share, or a total of 393.2 billion rubles from 10.43 rubles per share, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

Gazprom’s net profit attributable to shareholders doubled to 1.456 trillion rubles under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in 2018.

Gazprom’s shares jumped 9.6% to 178.9 rubles on the Moscow Exchange on the news.
